Doha played host to the season’s opening IAAF Diamond League round for the seventh consecutive season in May and once more Laurel International was once more selected by Qatar Athletics Federation to deliver the Media Services.

Doha Diamond League, the series’ kick-off meeting took place on Friday May 15 and few could imagine such a “hot start” for the athletic world’s most prestigious annual event. Five meeting and four Diamond League records, 11 World leads and of course the best triple jump competition ever are indicative of the strong competition and results of the highest level.
May 15th 2015, marks the beginning of the season for the IAAF Diamond League with all eyes of athletics and sports fans focusing on Doha, capital of Qatar. Once more, competition is expected to be strong among hosting cities, with Doha Diamond League being ready to see new heights, as IAAF Athlete of the Year 2014, Renaud Lavillenie announced his participation in the middle of March 2015.
